Understand who I am and what I can offer
My aim is to help people heal emotional wounds, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover meaning through professional, integrative counselling that is grounded in a whole-person approach to wellbeing. I believe lasting healing comes from understanding the whole person—not just their symptoms—and recognising the connection between our thoughts, emotions, physical wellbeing, relationships and personal values. Together, we work to overcome life's challenges, strengthen resilience and emotional wellbeing, and create lasting positive change so you can live with greater purpose, compassion and authenticity.
My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding and, as an integrative counsellor, I utilise techniques from various psychological and counselling modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Transaction Analysis, Positive Psychology and Person-Centered Counselling. My Background
With degrees in Psychology and Law, and professional counselling training in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I provide integrative counselling that draws on established therapeutic approaches while recognising the importance of supporting the whole person. Together, we explore the emotional, psychological, physical and, where relevant, spiritual aspects of wellbeing.
My counselling journey began when I became a listening volunteer with the Samaritans. The seemingly simple act of listening and being present with someone in their time of need, stirred my desire to go further, and to understand how I could help more directly and in a meaningful way. Over the years, I have counselled and worked with well known national and local mental health charities and organisations where I have supported adults and children of all ages with varied issues and difficulties.
